Reaching In and Helping Out

1. Enhanced Preparation: By onboarding individuals 180 days prior to release, My Way Out ensures that participants have ample time to reflect on their reentry goals and needs. This early engagement allows for thorough preparation and planning, empowering individuals to envision their "Way Out" and identify the support services they require for a successful transition. 2. Continuous Support: Through regular communication via email, phone conferences, and mail leading up to their release, participants remain connected with My Way Out, fostering a sense of support and guidance during a critical period of transition. This ongoing engagement ensures that participants feel supported and informed as they approach their release date. 3. Personalized Support: Upon release, participants are promptly assigned a Reentry Support Partner (RSP) who works closely with them to identify their goals, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Through collaborative efforts, participants and RSPs develop a Personalized Reentry Plan tailored to the individual's unique needs and circumstances. 4. Goal Achievement: The development of a Personalized Reentry Plan equips participants with clear strategies and action plans to achieve their reentry goals. By incorporating concrete steps and milestones, participants are empowered to make progress towards their objectives, leading to tangible outcomes and successes. 5. Holistic Support: My Way Out's approach to reentry support goes beyond just addressing immediate needs; it encompasses a holistic understanding of the challenges justice-involved individuals face. By providing comprehensive support that considers social, emotional, and practical aspects of reintegration, My Way Out ensures that participants receive the support they need to thrive post-release.
